The secret of ERS' success, and prerequisite for the efficacy of our heating technology, is the special layer technology we use. At a temperature of several thousand degrees, a tissue-paper-thin heating layer is fused with an infrared-permeable toughened safety-glass pane. The process is conducted by an ultra-precise fully-automatic plasma robot. The permanent and inseparable bond radiates heat straight from the heating layer into the room – without loss.
What distinguishes ERS Heatscreens from other infrared heaters?
Why ERS infrared heating? ERS’ patented layer technology, and the fact it’s made in Austria! ERS Heatscreens consist of 4 layers: A ceramic layer, heating layer, another ceramic layer and a protective layer. These 4 layers are fused with toughened glass pane at several 1000 degrees, the fusion ensuring infrared heat is radiated directly from the heating layer out into the room and back into the masonry without transmission loss.
Mould prevention
Our infrared heating radiates both into the room and back into the wall. The radiated heat helps the walls remain dry, preventing the growth of mould spores.
